John Rhey is a 33 year-old Nashville based country artist who was raised in Central Florida. Rhey found his country roots early in life with his mother being from Alabama. As a kid he was drawn to the piano and began to write songs. In 7th grade Rhey learned guitar and joined his school's worship band. Ever since that point Rhey was hooked. In college he started "The John Rhey Band" and played at local bars, venues, and school events. In 2013, The John Rhey Band won the prestigious United Way Battle of the Bands for Florida Southern College. John Rhey went on to open for the southern rock band, The Outlaws. This soon led to a promising future for Rhey. Now Rhey has opened for national acts Brothers Osborne and Chase Bryant as well as American Idol Josh Gracin, and Bucky Covington. He has recorded an EP and has singles up on most digital music platforms. With the release of his first single "College Girl," Rhey started a lot of hype in his college town with his video that went to almost 20,000 views in a week. "Summertime Buzz" and “Beach Drive” followed. While continuing to grow his fan base across the country, when not on tour, he is in Nashville recording and songwriting. Rhey started the 2025 year releasing a song with Ty March gaining traction called “Make It Last” with over 60,000 streams across platforms in the first couple weeks. Another song “Chilling In The Country” just dropped too. Many more songs coming! Follow John Rhey for new country music and tour dates!
