When listening to some of your favorite records, a lot of them #SoundLikeSparkz and you might not even know it. While waves are crashing down at the Jersey Shore, engineer John Sparkz has been making waves of his own for over a decade.
Sparkz began mixing in his early teens, and would shortly begin to rack up an impressive resume. After being noticed by super-producer Harry Fraud, the young engineer was brought on board and took his shot to become a legend in his own sense. Working with the likes of Action Bronson, Curren$y, Jadakiss, French Montana, Chinx Drugz, Jim Jones, Rick Ross, Dave East, Quavo, and many more allowed Sparkz to develop a name that rang bells throughout the industry. The buzzing engineer dropped his most prominent single entitled “Uncle Junior” Featuring Jim Jones and Action Bronson in 2021.
None of these accomplishments came easy, as behind the scenes Sparkz was battling a diagnosis of thyroid cancer for years throughout his career. He began speaking out on the matter, raising awareness as well as money for people in his same situation to show that the battle can be won. He would successfully undergo surgery and continued to provide help to further the cause of helping others that would have to go through the same hardships.
Fast Forward to present time and Sparkz has been full-throttle with the music ever since, racking up more top-tier names and putting his classic sound on some of our favorite records..
