John Traxx

John Traxx, the singer, songwriter and producer of tracks such as “How It Ends” and “Lose You Now”. He gets his inspiration from personal experiences. His music style is best described as contemporary and modern pop with some experimental and dance elements to it. Other artists, such as Lady Gaga, Kim Petras, MARINA, Lana Del Rey, Kygo, Avicii and synth-pop groups such as Hurts and CHVRCHES are his biggest influences. On July 6th he released his debut album Modern Angel:

“When I moved to Amsterdam around 5 years ago I did not know that many people and I found myself in a city full of strangers. I met so many great people, I fell in love with the city of stone. But I also met people who were less good for me, who took advantage of my innocence, who tried to change me to follow their lifestyle - referenced as Modern Angels.

This album is about finding my identity without looking at others; about what and who is fake. Nowadays it’s so simple to pretend like you’re someone else, in real life or online. Hiding behind pictures or a fake persona. Ultimately, the album is about finding the true modern angel within myself.”
