John W. Adams is a multi instrumentalist who has performed many of his songs in various bands, such as The Johns (Austin) and Darc Horse (Vernon). The bulk of his collection spans 40 years of songwriting, yet all are self-recorded in his home studio in North Texas. All guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals by Adams, except for occasional songs featuring Alexa Mooring on vocals.
Influences range from Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin to George Strait and Jerry Jeff Walker. Throw in some Marcy Playground and Jellyfish, and it pretty much sums up Adams' vast album collection.
