John Wesley Satterfield

John Wesley Satterfield has a lifelong passion for music and a deep commitment to serving others.

Inspired by his family's military background, he joined the US Coast Guard, actively participating in search and rescue missions, combating drug trafficking, and protecting marine life. As a maritime responder following 9/11, he uplifted his fellow crew members with his musical talents, providing moments of respite amidst their demanding duties.

Satterfield co-founded a transformative nonprofit organization named Hope Song alongside his dear friend, Ed Clay. Driven by a desire to contribute positively to the world, their mission was to bring the healing power of music to patients at an integrative cancer treatment center in Tijuana, Mexico. Witnessing the transformative impact music had on countless lives during the five years of running this program was truly humbling, reinforcing his belief in the profound influence of music as a source of solace and joy.

Collaborating with acclaimed producer Misa Arriaga, known for his work with remarkable country artists like Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, and Ben Haggard, he embarked on a new recording project. Together, they have crafted a collection of songs that he hopes will resonate with country music fans around the world. It is with heartfelt humility that he presents this first installment, born out of a sincere love for music and a deep desire to touch hearts.
