John Wolfhooker is a four-piece band from Prague known for breaking the borders of musical genres, technical instrumental parts, catchy choruses and energetic live shows.
The band made its first mark on the scene with the first single Chupacabra in 2013 which even impressed famous metal YouTube Jared Dines, who mentioned it in one of his episode. Since then John Wolfhooker released 3 music albums and many singles along with more than 20 music videos and played many shows across Europe and Canada.
John Wolfhooker also caught eyes of many huge acts who invited the band to support them on their shows, among others: Hollywood Undead, Rise Against , Enter Shikari, Sleeping With Sirens or Our Last Night.
The band is noted for the talent of its guitarist, Rony Janecek, who is considered one of the Europe's best guitarists of his generation and is also responsible for the production of the band along with the bass player Filip Vlcek.
Their latest album is called The New Past and includes genres spreading from post hardcore, pop punk or funk to progressive metal.
