Hip-Hop fan, Beatmaker Jojo Makasi was born Miklós Mendrei in Budapest, Hungary, in 1978.
He made his debut in 2015 as a beatmaker as a member of the rap group called Bupino (Zsolaa, Busa P. & DJ Future).
He also released his first beat album this year which Eric Andrè mentioned in a Vanity Fair report as one of his favorite records.
After that he continued to make music and several beat albums were released. His music style was mainly influenced by the electronic, krautrock, psychedelic rock and synth-pop music of the 80s.
