Joseph Ifeoluwa Oluwajomiloju, popularly known as Jomsy Cowries, is a Nigerian fast-rising, multi-talented Afrobeat, Afropop, and R&B singer and songwriter.
Born on January 14, 2008, in Benin State, Nigeria, Jomsy hails from Oyo State, under the Afijio Local Government Area. He grew up in Lagos State, where his passion for music began to flourish. A Christian by faith, he completed his secondary education at Final Solution Private School and is currently a student of Ekiti State University (EKSU), pursuing his studies while advancing his music career.
Jomsy was born into a family of four children and is the firstborn of his parents. He draws inspiration from Nigerian music stars like Ayra Starr, Rema, and Bloody Civilian, whose creativity and drive have influenced his musical journey.
He gained recognition with his breakout hit “BADI,” which showcased his signature Afro-fusion style — a vibrant mix of rhythm, melody, and heartfelt storytelling. In 2025, Jomsy released another notable single, “Crush On” ft. Actor1ma (June 27, 2025), which further established his emotional and soulful approach to Afrobeat.
His growing catalog also includes songs such as “Beautiful,” “SSS2 Lovers,” “Giving You All My Love,” “Vision,” and “Gimme Your Love” ft. Lily Kel. He has also delivered standout projects like Bad At 7Tin and Attire Of Satire, which highlight his range and creativity.
