Jon and Julia are Jon-Terje Sundberg and Julia Blomgren from Stockholm, Sweden. In January 2019 the band signed a deal with Tonotopic Records from London.
Their first song ‘Stop Bleeding Your Heart Out’ was released through Space Place Records. Several record labels began to take notice of the duo with 'City of mine' in september 2018.
Their latest song 'Hey Daddy' is an upbeat, dancey mix of rock guitar and bluesy male and female vocals. Despite being a quick follow up to 'Let It Go' the song writing process wasn't as speedy. Jon-Terje Sundberg (vocals and guitar):
"This song we co-wrote with our producer Daniel Lindblom. It was really good because we struggled a lot ... made a whole new arrangement, left the "rock world" and entered a kind of ”Donna Summer disco/pop world” and that opened up new ideas and avenues... We've often talked about writing a duet and 'Hey Daddy' felt like the right track."
Things starts spinning. Several small radio stations in Sweden has picked it up, like the swedish local radio station P4 Gävleborg and Stockholm college radio, but also abroad: KFCF FM 88.1 in California.

"There is a hint of Freddy Mercury in the vocal tone, and a splash of Elton inte the melody structure. Along with those influences are threads of classic Punk. The fusion is entertaining and engaging, just as rock and roll should be."
