Jon Maybey is a guitar and mandolin player. His “live” looping and foot-stomping style mixes original and traditional instrumental music. Expect funky folk, reggae rock and Balkan blues with an occasional well known classic tune.
Formerly of the band "Elephant Talk", Jon began writing and recording solo music in 2014. His skilled use of the loop-station provides a multi-layered, sonic journey with rhythms that may well get your feet moving! Performing since his teens, he has worked with some great artists including Eddie Reader, Aaron Catlow and Rosie Eade.
