My name is Jon Rodriguez. I'm a recent college graduate trying to figure out what comes next and displaying that journey through music. My upcoming album, The Hours I Wasted, explores the doubts, insecurities, fears, hopes, and faith that come with a twentysomething trying to find your place in the world.
When I was 13 years old, I heard Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and decided immediately that I wanted to be a rapper. I had no idea what I was doing. The almost 10 years since have seen me go through many false starts as I learned how to make music and learned what it means to be an artist. But that rollercoaster of blood, sweat, and tears has brought me a long way. I hope you can hear the results of that work in the music because I think the dopeness and the grind shines through.
