Jon Skoog's music is, at the core, inspired by the Swedish landscape. The deep green forests. The ocean waves that break against the rocks of the Stockholm archipelago. The tall cliffs in the High Coast area on the Gulf of Bothnia. He seeks, however, to combine these elemental influences with more contemporary and accessible emotions. As She Slowly Walks Away seeks to induce a feeling of calmness and acceptance. It can hopefully relieve some of the stress and anxiety we all face sometimes.
