Jona

JONA is a Filipino singer, known for her versatility in different music genres like Pop, RnB and Ballad; her belting technique, melismatic singing style and her ability to sing operatic arias. She is the first Pinoy Pop Superstar Grand winner.
Last 2018 she made Awit Awards history, as the first artist to win all four digital categories (Most Streamed Artist, Most Streamed Song for Pusong Ligaw, Most Downloaded Artist, Most Downloaded Song for You) and also bagging Best Selling Album of the Year for her self-titled album Jona under Star Music. She was also the first female artist to have 3 songs to be included on BillboardPH Charts Philippine Top 20 for her hit songs Pusong Ligaw, Maghihintay Ako & You. She has received PARI certified gold and platinum record awards for her self-titled album Jona under Star Music in 2017.
In 2016, she transferred from GMA to ABS-CBN, changing her screen name from Jonalyn Viray to "Jona". Her earliest projects in ABS-CBN is when she sang "I Will Survive", OST of TV series We Will Survive, and also participating as an interpreter in Himig Handog 2016. She also sang several theme songs for films like I'll Never Love This Way Again, the OST of Barcelona: A Love Untold, & You as OST of My Ex and Whys. Jona was also tapped to sing numerous theme songs for various TV series like Pusong Ligaw, Ngayon At Kailanman, Asintado and Init Sa Magdamag. Jona also became a mainstay of the longest running noontime musical variety show ASAP.
