Jonathan Evans

Jonathan Evans, an award-winning singer-songwriter/producer, lives in Ottawa, Canada. His musical journey began with the band "Five Guys Named Moe" in the UK in 1990. There, he signed a deal with RCA/BMG and released their debut album.
"Selfish Days" was hailed as "single of the week" by New Musical Express and The Globe and Mail described the album as "an impressive debut…a deft piece of pop finery… "
Returning to Canada, Evans embarked on a successful second career as a television composer. He received a Gemini award and earned a Canadian Screen award nomination for his musical work.
He has composed hundreds of songs and underscores for various Emmy award-winning series, collaborating with esteemed companies such as Disney, Lego, Sesame Workshop, and Netflix.
Evans however, never lost sight of his first love: writing songs and producing records. Notably, he collaborated with Universal Music artist, Rosemary Fairweather, co-writing and producing 3 albums. These songs have garnered over 15+ million plays on Spotify and Youtube.

Recently, Jonathan Evans has been involved in collaborations with VANISHING GIRL and Rosemary Fairweather, resulting in the creation of pop gems like 'Washing Machine".
