"Jonivan Jones is a musician and performing songwriter with roots in Arkansas and South Texas, blending South Pacific travels, Twang, and Psychedelic sounds with old Folk, Blues, and Campfire songs. His style fuses Traditional Folk, Early Western, and Delta Blues, creating a unique yet familiar sound that resonates with audiences along whatever travel route or path they are found on.

These sounds and songs evolved through years of experimentation, and Jonivan's live performances are a rich tapestry of homemade foot drums, altered tunings, and some warm tones of a reverberated amplifier. Whether performing solo or in small ensembles, his music reflects the raw beauty of life's trials and explorations. Living a transient lifestyle for work on and in sea from the age of 19, he devoted the years to experimenting with the different sounds and styles encountered along the way. The musical style can also be characterized by its ragged lilts and reverence to DIY spirits. Live performances are a stirred-up framework of genres, creating a unique but familiar sound.
