Marion J. Kirkland, better known as Jonny Chexx, is an independent American Hip-hop recording artist and producer.
The Florida native was born and raised in Jacksonville, where in his teens, he began making music with his friend and fellow Hip-hop artist Veen.
Since then he has released several songs such as "Uh-oh", "Heat", "Homework" and "Send It", a party song inspired by the new Orleans bounce music movement.
Not only does he write, record, and produce his own music, with a collegiate background in Graphic Design, he creates the visual marketing pieces for all of his work.
