Jonny the Moonliner was created around 2004. But the history goes back long before.Playing Music and writing songs since the 80´s. Jonny decided in 2004 to take the music further. At first only to close friends.
One thought was to give the songs to friends who was in various bands that could play them live and record them as well if they wanted.
Jonny himself was not in that mental state that he did not know what else to do.
As time went along playing the songs he got good feedback from musicians and friends like Peter Frövik (Lee Marvelous ) Harri Caine Haapanen (Crestlers) and Tommy Lyden (Six foot Seven) Tobba Andersson (co founder of the record company Zorch Production) Harri Caine did help Jonny to record in his own home. Jonnys great friend Peter Frövik pushed Jonny to play on open mic occasions in Stockholm Peter did point out
- No one else than you could performe your songs! It was ment as an compliment.
Jonny did make some appeareanses at open mic occaissions in Stockholm and that was a mountin to climb, the response was good an Jonny started to practice and writing, Tommy Lyden did come to Jonnys home and play a lot in the kitchen. Tommy helped Jonny as well with some small gigs.
Harri got Jonny to meet Nils Mikaelsson at the Playwood Production. They started to record Jonny´s song "How Could it be" in 2015 and in 2022 Playwood Production helped Jonny with the release of the EP "So tired of it all"
