Jontsa

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1994, Jonathan (his given name) first became interested in music thanks to his relatives who taught him how to play the piano, drums, conga, tambora, and other instruments as a young boy.
With his childhood friend Samuel, he made the decision to launch a DJ and music production project in 2014. During the course of two years, they learned everything about electronic music while also gaining practical experience in the fundamentals of music theory and production. As an alter ego with a 2016 concentration on the most underground and industrial productions, JONTSA shines (so to express it) In that year, Kentdow (the initial project) and Jontsa. The first productions of both, are released (as co-producer) which would be "Living Death," and after that he keeps learning about different subgenres and broadening his expertise until 2018. In that year a friend and coworker (Metrovice) joins them and they decide to create their first record album which helps them establish their reputations in the industry electronic music produced locally.
In order to explore genres like Techno, Deep House, Hip Hop, etc. JONTSA has been working on several productions since 2020 that will be made available to the public in the following years.
