Jorah

Jorah is a singer-songwriter from Holland. With her distinctive voice she makes sure her catchy music gets stuck in your head.
Born and raised in a small town in the east side of Holland called ‘Nijverdal’, Jorah grew up being a shy girl with big dreams. Being bullied at school for many years made her insecure and unable to show the real her. When she graduated from highschool she ‘reinvented’ herself and she finally spoke up to everyone about her deepest dreams. She picked up her brother’s guitar and started to perform on stages. Quickly she realised that she might actually be good enough and she wanted to find out what her chances were in the music business. She auditioned for the Conservatory of Haarlem and got admitted. She finally felt like she could easily fit in and made many friends, got boyfriends and most of all: got to start living her dream in becoming a singer. She spend 4 years developing her voice and her songwriting skills with the help of some amazing musicians and she graduated in 2017 by giving a concert consisting of only origional songs.


Now she is ready for the next chapter of her story. After a year of focussing on writing new songs, finding out what she stands for as an artist, what she wants the world to hear and most of all really finding her voice she is ready to show everyone her biggest dream.
And just like before: she’ll make it come true!
