Jordan Mac

Jordan found a passion for writing raps at 8 years old. Eminem, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and 2pac inspired him to write his first raps. Into his later years, inspirations are Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Travis Scott, and Joey Badass.
Growing up in Rockford Illinois, Jordan’s adolescent years were full of tribulations. His dad was in prison for most of it while his mom was struggling with addiction. Not long after he was released, Jordan dad passed away from an overdose.
Writing songs was how he dealt with problems while working on his craft throughout his adolescence and going away to college. It wasn’t until the later years of college he felt ready and could afford the resources to start making his dream a reality. Finally at the age of 22, he announced on his social medias his passion for music as Jordan Mac and dropped his first song on SoundCloud the next day called “Embers”. He went on to release 9 more songs on SoundCloud and YouTube mixing and mastering them himself.
With a style blending old school and new age Hip Hop, Jordan Mac emerges as the next up and coming artist of this generation.
