Jorge Espinal is a Peruvian guitarist and improviser based in Buenos Aires. His solo project explores the limits of rhythmic independence in the body, expanding the possibilities of the prepared electric guitar. Elements of noise are redefined under the blessing of Latin American rhythms.
With guitar, bass drum, cowbell, pedals and a laptop, he triggers samples, loops, freezes sounds and uses the guitar more as a rhythmic instrument than a harmonic one. Everything is performed live.
