Jorts is an electronic musician from Michigan who first made his appearance circa 2012, gaining clout as a winner in remix contests held by Kyle Bourke, Electro-Light, Psymbionic, and Evol Intent. After a few years, Jorts began releasing full-fledged albums with Delta Method in 2017, followed by Spatial Effects in 2018 and Countdown in 2021. Jorts specializes in faster music, typically with elements of complextro and glitch, combined with genres including house, psytrance, and UK hardcore, often with a touch of jazz influence.
