Jose Gutierrez, A.K.A. Jose 2 Hype, has been a music industry staple since 1992 and his name is
synonymous with the electronic music genre. He has been an important contributing pioneer of
the electronic music culture in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
In early 1995, Jose began producing Hard House on his own label "2 Hype Records" and
gained notoriety making the charts and DJ mix shows all over the USA. Soon after, Jose was
picked up by the world renowned "Underground Construction" based out of Chicago. Jose 2
Hype released anthems like "Jack Attack" and "Dance Your Ass Off" among others.
Most recently Jose has had releases in Spain, UK, USA and Mexico, as well as, appearing in clubs
and events around the globe.
Jose 2 Hype’s music video named "YES" was shown in over 55 countries and made top 3
music video of the month on BPMtv (Canada). Recently, Jose was also featured in the music
documentary "Hard Bangin' House" (2020). It is currently streaming on all major platforms.
Jose 2 Hype also entertained as a long-time resident DJ at Studio 54 (MGM Grand) and
performed both as a resident DJ and Music Director at Tabu Ultra Lounge (MGM Grand).
Among other residencies are Eve Nightclub (Aria Hotel Casino), Chateau Nightclub (Paris Hotel
Casino), and Blue Martini.
Currently, Jose is remixing and releasing original music, along with other artists on his industry
respected label, "2 Hype Records"
