Born in Kinshasa (RDC) and raised in a town called Heidelberg, José Miguel Kilongi grew up as the child of an evangelist. He fell in love with music, especially hip-hop. At the age of 7 He started singing in the church choir. With 15 he began writing his own songs and after an encounter with his faith at 22, he changed his style. Gospel music would define his life as he began to have a relationship with Jesus and vowed to become apart of His presence. It found its place in his heart and José refuses to let it go. The Congolese-German singer released his first song, "Wir sagen Danke" (We say Thank you) in 2019.
A smooth blend between African and German gospel, it attracts believers in the divine atmosphere. José invites listeners to experience a moment of encounter with God.
