Jose Rodriguez Jr.

Jose Rodriguez Jr. is a Puerto Rican artist from Chicago&#39;s Northwest Side Humboldt Park. With his Latin flavor and unique sound this artist influences came from the streets to the church choir. By high school he was known for his talent shows and battles with local artists. In 1998 he recorded his first record &#34;If I Were To Die&#34;. 2000 he released &#34;Under Pressure&#34;. 2003 he released &#34;Nation Business&#34;. 2005 he released &#34;Gorilla Pound Unknowns&#34;. 2006 his group won the Midwest Indie Hip Hop Award Showcase. 2009 he was part of the project &#34;Blood City: Loud Pack Goonies&#34;. He’s opened up for Bump J, Bo Deal, &amp; LEP Bogus Boys. 2012 he dropped his first solo project with a now Grammy Award Winner Engineer/Producer CBMix hosted by 92.3 &amp; 106.3 Mixshow DJ Ty Sko. Now a devoted Christian Jose released his debut EP &#34;<a href="spotify:album:3do7jrXvGnd5caC07jOJlo" data-name="Dearly Beloved">Dearly Beloved</a>&#34; along with the collaboration for <a href="spotify:track:3XBL1j8Fyx9HSNiKubiA9f" data-name="Dearly Beloved - Remix">Dearly Beloved - Remix</a> [feat. <a href="spotify:artist:4kjg5xFLFVfWJFus3mwV5e" data-name="Jered Sanders">Jered Sanders</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:449jAfPhIBlF73XB53A8BS" data-name="William Cata">William Cata</a>] November 13, 2020. He was also invited to open up for <a href="spotify:artist:2ZNeZlHauwGYZ9XADyjSL4" data-name="Datin">Datin</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:0P8V2XSw1mIo8739T1qjzr" data-name="Bizzle">Bizzle</a>’s Soul Therapy Tour in Miami, FL. in 2021 and released a collaboration project “<a href="spotify:track:11nNOPPGUpz0uswivtUa2L" data-name="Sincerely Yours">Sincerely Yours</a>” December 24, 2021. In 2022, Jose was booked to perform at the 1st Annual Christ Jam in Paterson, NJ. In 2024 Jose released “<a href="spotify:album:01n4p5acfELbOkGnTutlTL" data-name="Streams in the Desert">Streams in the Desert</a>” a joint effort with <a href="spotify:artist:6x8rgwhZbAYhjjLyi7cBBw" data-name="A.J.C Tha Servant">A.J.C Tha Servant</a> and in 2025 Jose dropped an Album called “Dreaming with my Eyes Open”.
