Jose released his sophomore mixtape, Misery Loves Company in the summer of 2019 then its follow-up Might Not Be Alive in April 2020. Jose Xavier's dreamy and introspective music blurs the lines between hip-hop, R&B, and alternative rock. His lyrics reflect on depression, relationships, drug use, and stories about growing up in his hometown Baton Rouge. Xavier’s music pushes the boundaries while staying true to his Southern roots.
