Joseph Adam Medina

Joseph Adam Medina was born in Chicago, IL, in 1978. Raised in San Antonio, TX, since age 4, he considers himself to be “way more Texan” than anything else. As a songwriter and vocalist, Medina brings a unique blend of traditional & contemporary Country Music with a dash of 90’s flair. Because JAM spent so many years in the Tejano music industry, his brand of Texas Music is also seasoned with a touch of Latin flavor. Medina’s rich vocal style draws from a mix of legendary influences like Strait, Elvis, Conway, Haggard and Cash, coupled with the modern nuances of Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Jason Boland.

Medina has spent a lifetime in the music scene. As a teenager Medina toured with his dad and uncle’s conjunto group Estrella Del Norte, which signed to the Capitol/EMI label. Throughout his childhood, JAM toured with superstars like Selena, Emilio, La Mafia, Grupo Mazz, and David Lee Garza.

Currently Medina has teamed up with multi-Grammy Award-winning producers Michael & Ron Morales to create a new studio sound of original tunes. This brand new EP was recorded at Studio M in San Antonio, TX, and features legendary fellow musicians Bobby Flores (fiddle/steel), David Caceres (saxophone) and Joe Medina (accordion).
