Joseph William Morgan is an award winning composing and songwriting duo made up of Matthew Morgan and Jose Villanueva. With music ranging anywhere from hip hop to pop to orchestral, Matthew and Jose are multifaceted talents. Whether they’re producing songs for America’s Got Talent, writing original production tracks for Call of Duty, or having an orchestra cover Taylor Swift - Joseph William Morgan continues to provide custom music for visionary clients.
Growing up in a small town in North Carolina, the two artists have been friends since middle school. Starting off as two 13-year-olds skipping lunch to afford studio time, Matthew and Jose evolved into professional musicians, creating music that has seen synchs in commercials for Rolls-Royce, trailers for blockbuster movies, and popular video games. In 2021 they received an ASCAP Screen Music Award, and in 2022 their work was nominated for Best Original Score at the Golden Trailer Awards.
