Josh Barron

A self-taught musician and composer, Josh started his interest in music at the age of ten years old. Since then, he has written numerous arrangements for piano for the fan community. In 2015, Josh released his debut in the form of The ETHEReal String Project along with the @ETHEReal String Orchestra. With nine music projects completed for 2016 including MATERIA: FFVII Remixed, SUCCESSOR: FFVIII Remixed, Nibel: Ori Remixed, VERSUS, Mobius: Sonic Remixed, MPIII: WAVE, Tribute Album 64, The Travelers, live concert performances from Seattle Video Game Orchestra and Choir and Iowa City Community String Orchestra, Josh continues to keep busy. In 2017, his co-founded band The Travelers VGM worked with composer @Justin Bell and Obsidian Entertainment to create an arrangement from Pillars of Eternity and together Josh and @The Travelers VGM have released one major album, and three EPs. In 2021, Josh released a new album titled Kaleidoscope: Sakimoto and Hamauzu Works, which features music from legendary composers @Hitoshi Sakimoto and @Masashi Hamauzu. The album marks the first time Josh Barron collaborated with pianist @Benyamin Nuss. Recently, Josh's critically acclaimed soundtrack to Fallen Aces Episode 1 was released featuring a brand new vocal track titled Heart of Glass with lyrics written by Bank (Chicken Police 1 &2). Currently, Josh is working on Fallen Aces Episode 2 for New Blood Interactive.
