Josh Doss

Born in Lexington, Ky and currently based in Salt Lake City. Josh Doss has been writing and recording music for the last decade, with over 20 albums of self-released music. Heavily influenced by songwriting auteurs such as Neil Young, Tom Petty, Lou Reed, and country music as well as the freak-folk pioneers in the company of Wooden Wand. Doss writes from the heart and the experiences taken in from the periphery of his surroundings. Don't expect to hear the same music from album to album as in following the footsteps of his heroes Doss is on the path to shake up his sound anyway possible while staying true to himself and his roots. Doss is also part of The Cancers, based out of Salt Lake City, combining influences of honky-tonk and Rock N' Roll to set themselves apart with a classic and universal sound.
