Josh Hey

Josh Hey is a musician/producer/dj who draws upon samples as well as original instrumentation to compose music/projects/mixes. Trained in the early 2000’s, Hey brings that energy to the current musical landscape and aims to maintain the human feel in the digital realm.

His audio content has been released by Paxico Records, Acorn Tapes, NTS Radio and he has collaborated with Poptartpete, Iunnowho, Swarvy, Suzi Analogue and more. Hey has performed throughout the United States, sharing bills with acts like Juicy J, Count Bass D, Ohbliv, Mndsgn, Photay and held DJ residencies at C’mon Everybody (BK), Paperbox (BK), HyLo Boutiques (PHL), and James Oliver Gallery (PHL).

Additionally, Josh help cultivate the legendary Paxico Powwaw; a live streamed living room beat show house party that gave numerous producers and creatives an ego free environment to share their music with the world. “I’m all about community.
