Josh Schneider

Nostalgic, genuine, intriguing yet subtle, and sometimes fierce, Josh Schneider does his own thing. He has his own style. Josh Schneider style. He follows no one particular influence, but has been influenced by many of the great pop and rock artists of the past decades including Phil Collins, Mr. Mr., Toto, Metallica and Cyndi Lauper. He was born in '81 and graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music. (Just Kidding!!!) He did attend Delgado Community College in New Orleans for culinary arts. After a year he switched his major to music and then he flunked out because he smoked too much pot. ( A common fate for most musicians). It took him a few years but in 2004 he finally got his act together and he is now straight laced and headed in the right direction. He has been a lifelong guitarist since 7th grade, but more of a riff writer than songwriter. In 2019 he began working with producer and engineer Bryan Fulton of Ayers Affect Audio in Denton TX. (https://www.ayersaffect.com) Bryan has greatly enhanced Josh Schneider's sound and feels it is quite unique. Josh Schneider is from Meraux Louisiana, a small town about 30 minutes southeast of New Orleans. He works a day job and dreams of someday doing music full time. He is currently working on a very heavy style EDM track. It will be instrumental only and his heaviest sounding track to date. He has many more songs in the works.
