A solo project from <a href="spotify:artist:0yN7xI1blow9nYIK0R8nM7">Buckcherry</a>'s frontman, Josh Todd & the Conflict formed in 2016, signing a deal with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Century+Media%22">Century Media</a> early the following year. Also featuring <a href="spotify:artist:0yN7xI1blow9nYIK0R8nM7">Buckcherry</a> guitarist Steve Dacanay along with bassist Gregg Cash and drummer Sean Winchester, the Conflict's early singles featured a heavier, harder-edged tone than the hard rock <a href="spotify:artist:0yN7xI1blow9nYIK0R8nM7">Buckcherry</a> had become known for.
