At eighteen years old, JOSH WALTHER began his music career as the front man for the country/pop band, McALYSTER. Signing with MCA Records in 2001, they achieved chart success with the hit single, I Know How The River Feels. In 2009, Josh formed the band, PHASE 5, garnering rave revues, quick success and even capturing the attention of Sir PAUL McCARTNEY. Hiring Walther for a private event in 2015, the former Beatle and pop icon joined Josh and the band for a few songs. Rolling Stone Magazine named this collaboration one of the Top 10 surprise appearances of McCartney’s career. Through his tenure with the Phase 5 Band, Josh has brilliantly found a way to entertain multi-generational audiences with a blend of music from the Great American Songbook all the way to today’s Top 40 hits. This unique skill has become the secret to his success.
