Joshua Holland

Joshua Holland is a South Jersey drummer-turned-songwriter, writing songs about the wilderness, the Jersey Devil, dogs, and love. Growing up in the space between the vast New Jersey Pine Barrens and Philadelphia's towering skyscrapers, his music bridges the realms of the ethereal and the distorted - the serene and the turbulent.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as The War On Drugs, Grouper, The Paper Kites, Fleet Foxes, and Lord Huron, his debut solo EP, <a href="spotify:album:4yrUe2LRpROxcp6eZFzexH" data-name="HOUNDS OF HEAVEN">HOUNDS OF HEAVEN</a>, was released on March 26th, 2021. After the release of 2 remixes from his debut work in 2021 and a withdrawal from the busy gigging life he led throughout the entirety of his 20s drumming in multiple local bands, Holland returned from a musical hiatus to release the meditative and cathartic instrumental track, <a href="spotify:track:3qO9PPfbz0dlMyvNG7ysJG" data-name="Azimuth">Azimuth</a>, during the last breaths of 2022.

In early 2023, Holland released <a href="spotify:track:0XHlWtEJG4rUYQcgaFaUrR" data-name="Havoc">Havoc</a>, a haunting exploration into the ever-quickening pace of life and a prayer of hope released into the winds of time. Holland&#39;s latest single, Frequency, was released in September 2023, co-written with <a href="spotify:artist:5rw1sWjXsii84q3bnOk29A" data-name="Sharon Byrd">Sharon Byrd</a> and featuring the vocals of <a href="spotify:artist:5CiSsHWbdXoyjPxHxsFoCh" data-name="Kait Faraghan">Kait Faraghan</a>.
