Joshua Moore

Hi, my name is Joshua Moore. Since I can remember, I have always been in love with stories. Whether fantasy stories like Harry Potter, Dune, and Lord of the Rings, or real-life stories such as Touching The Void, The Bible... or that one that my history teacher told me about the king who got stabbed in the butt.

As a result, this gave me an equally strong love of creating my own stories. Because I knew that stories had a way of connecting people in a much deeper way than normal. With my music, I hope to capture the same sense of story, yet also provide a place of rest for those who feel as if they have travelled alone for too long.

My first song 'I am with you' was composed with this in mind and was based on the Bible verse in Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

The main elements I use in my tracks are piano, orchestral instruments, and cinematic / ambient textures. The piano in particular is at the heart of my music, having played it since a young age.

Other random facts about me:
- I still love the LEGO video games even though I'm 23 years old.
- I've never watched Star Wars.
- I frequently enjoy consuming a large plate of spinach and chocolate.
p.s. I have actually watched Star Wars. That was just a joke.
