Joshua Roberts

Joshua Roberts is a guitarist, bassist, singer, and songwriter from Houston, Texas. The Scottish born Texan started his musical studies in junior high school, and eventually went on to earn a college degree in commercial music and audio technology. He has been performing live since he was a teenager, initially making his mark on the Texas music scene with his first band Willis Brownstone, an alternative rock jam-band from Waco, Texas. Willis Brownstone released two albums: Summer Salt in 2004 and Without Hesitation in 2007.

2007 was also the year that Roberts released his first solo record, a jazz and Americana infused, 12 song album titled Concede. In 2018, Roberts returned to the studio and released his second album, featuring Caleb Jones on bass and multiple other intruments. The duo created an experimental, ambient rock 5 song EP titled Electroharmonic.

In 2020 with producer Chris Castaneda at the helm, Joshua Roberts headed to 512 Studios in Austin, Texas. Over the next year, with the help of Caleb Jones on bass and Bryan Zannotti on drums, Joshua's third album Lost & Found was recorded, and eventually released in early 2022. The 8 song genre-hopping album features some of Texas' most talented players including David Pulkingham, Rodney Pyeatt, and Chris Castaneda on guitar, Omar Vallejo on bass (and trumpet!!), and Cody Angel on pedal steel guitar.
