Based out of St. Louis, Missouri — Joshua Stephen is a melodic and progressive artist with roots planted in booth house and techno. It is his mission to continue to be a force that brings this more of this music to the Midwest.
Since picking up instruments around the age of ten, Joshua Stephen has always been in love with music. He begun exploring everything from junior-high orchestra to playing in local metal bands. This eventually led him to his true home in dance music.
Whether performing live, or producing in the studio, he focuses on guiding listeners through builds, breaks, tension, and release—creating immersive, story-driven experiences that resonate long after the final moments pass.
In addition to releasing music and doing live performances, he has also founded the Melodic and Progressive collective Melodia which is also homed in the heart of St. Louis. This collective has helped to produce live events featuring both local and national acts.
He has built the presence of himself, and Melodia, by collaborating with some of the premier local promoters (B&W STL, Nightchaser, Party Diva) supporting popular national acts such as KREAM, Jono Stephenson, Dark Heart, Danny Avila, Max Styler, and many more.
