American rapper, vocalist and songwriter Joshua hailing from Merced, California -- emerged in 2018 with a high volume of independent singles. His musical style can be described as a cross between bravado, romance and vulnerability. Merging the passionate genres, it’s music for the road, for the lovesick youth, and for the struggling dreamers on their journey to self-fulfillment.


Born Joshua Taylor in Lubbock, Texas, Joshua took an early interest in music. After his sophomore year in college he made the decision to seriously pursue music. Through his journey he discovered he had a deep love for melody and poetry. His output switched between braggadocious modern hip-hop anthems and R&B-oriented relationship ballads. In 2020 he founded the brand and label imprint, Truly Be Desired. Truly Be Desired represents everything true and sincere. It represents peace, loyalty, passion, the dreamers, the doers. It’s authentic, honest, vulnerable and real. Truly Be Desired is a family above all else. In 2019 he released the cut “Priceless”, which quickly became his most popular to date. He continued into 2020 with the single “Ease Your Mind”.
