Josiah Pait is an independent artist from Orange City, Florida. Pait grew up fascinated by music and the art of storytelling. Playing music with different classical bands and taking piano lessons when he was young helped him discover how to write his own music.
As a middle schooler, Pait had a God encounter that changed his life forever. Ever since then he has strived to live the Gospel in every aspect of his life, including his music.
Josiah released his first EP, Crossroads, as a senior in highschool with best friend and producer Aaron Johnson. A few years later after graduating college, Pait released a full length album, Who Am I as a loose story based on his own deconstruction of Himself and his beliefs. Highlights of this project include Pray for Me, which displays Josiah’s ability mix vulnerability and emotion in a contemporary package. Make War, which is a nod to the days of boom bap music, and Royalty, which is a reminder to all followers of Christ on who they are.
Pait continues to make music through engaging lyrics and heartfelt emotion. When asked if he’ll ever stop making music, his response says it all, “I’ll stop making music when I have nothing left to say.”
