Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, Josiah comes from objectively humble beginnings. He began making his own music at the age of 14, initially just making beats and offering them for sale online. After seeing the success and widespread notoriety attained through music by one of his high school peers, Josiah began recording his own vocals over the beats he made. His first few releases elicited a modest, yet overall positive, response. It wasn't long, however, before Josiah had caught the attention of listeners from all over the world. Josiah’s sound presents listeners with a fresh combination of highly melodic vocals, vintage digital synths and punchy trap drums, all while telling of his extraordinary quest for the racks.
