Joy Adams is a well known entertainer in the New Zealand Country Music scene.
She has traveled extensively performing in Australia, USA and Europe.
To date Joy has released 20 albums that have enjoyed exceptional response from her audiences.
Many of her albums include self-penned songs that have been recorded by other artists around the world.
Her latest album, That Says It All was released in August 2021 and is receiving great reviews and airplay worldwide as well as the new singles - Love Is and Be Mine.
She has won many coveted music and humanitarian awards including:
New Zealand Country Music Association Songwriter of the Year
National Female Country Artist of the Year.
Inductee into the Tasma Roll of Honour (The Australasian Southerncross Music Association)
Lifetime Achievement Award from the New Zealand Country Music Association for outstanding contribution to New Zealand Country Music
Paul Harris Fellow Award from Rotary of Huntly, NZ
Savemart Community Service Award from the Child Cancer Foundation
In 2014 Joy also launched her own charity to raise funds for children who have special needs, are disabled, or have severe illnesses. StarBuddy Charitable Trust is a major part of her humanitarian efforts. www.starbuddy.org.nz
Joy was a radio presenter for 12 years and in May 2021 she returned to radio with two shows weekly on NZCMR.com radio network focusing on NZ, Australian, and indie country music.
