Hailing from Gyedu, a suburb of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, Jozy Dayan (Josephine Owusu) is a Christian Hip-pop/soul, Pop, and Worship artist whose message is centred on reminding people about their kingship identity in Christ. She preaches her faith in Jesus through her music with the sole aim of giving listeners a sense of identity in Christ. Her passion for men to be changed is clearly emphasised on in her music and its message delivery. In her hope to appeal to a global community, as well as the people of her native land, she combines English, Pidgin, Twi, and Ga languages in her music composition. She is currently signed to E.R.A. Music Entertainment, a label associated with The Kings’ Union International, a church of which she is a member.
