JP Candela is a Madrid-born DJ now based in Ibiza who has become one of the key DJs in the international electronic music scene and has played a crucial role in the island’s musical history, holding weekly residencies for the last 15 years at iconic clubs like Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza & HI Ibiza. Recently, he launched his own label & event, ĀMA Music, with a residency at Lula Club in Madrid. His musical style is rooted in Techno vibes of the late '80s, House sounds of the '90s & Progressive House of the 2000s. Influenced by legends like Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Jerome Sydenham & Dennis Ferrer, his sound now covers a diverse range that includes afro house, melodic house & melodic techno. Throughout his career, JP Candela has remixed for a wide variety of artists, from icons New Order to Pop & Hip-Hop Stars like David Guetta, SIA, Kid Cudi & Snoop Dog. He’s also taken on remixes of classic electronic tracks like "HEY HEY" by Dennis Ferrer, "Plastic Dreams" by Jaydee, "Strings Of Life" by Soul Central & "You’re Not Alone" by Olive. DJing at world-renowned festivals like Ultra Music Miami, Ultra Music Europe, Creamfields & Medusa has taken his music to iconic cities like Berlin, Paris, Milan, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore, Bora Bora, Moscow, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Tulum, Split, Marrakech & Tokyo solidifying his status as a must-have talent on the global scene.
