Joaquin Peña is a multidisciplinary artist working across ambient and pop through his project, Jp Hill. His practice reflects an evolving sonic language shaped by years of exploration, beginning with bedroom music in the early 2010s, transitioning into R&B and jazz pop in the latter part of the decade, and moving through club-oriented sounds in the early 2020s. His current work leans toward ambient music and old-school film composition, embracing a more atmospheric and sincere sensibility. He is a member of the BuwanBuwan Collective and a co-founder of GLASSGLASSGLASS, where he continues to engage in collaborative and exploratory creative work.
