JPatz is a music producer from Cape Town, South Africa. He immigrated to the US in 1999. His sound is mostly a blend of hip hop, electronic, soul and jazz. His late father influenced his musical tastes early on with classics such as; Bob Marley, Sugarhill Gang, War, Black Sabbath, Marvin Gaye and many more. Later on he developed a deep joy for musicians such as A Tribe Called Quest, Big L, Pete Rock and so on.
JPatz released his first instrumental album in 2018 and many singles since then. He produces music for various artists as well as synch libraries. He is an avocado connoisseur.
