Born in St. Ann, Jamaica, now residing in Miami, Florida, JP is a local hip-hop artist and musician who embodies his faith, culture, and personality as the heart and message to his music. Inspired by the artistry of various musical genres such as Jazz, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and R&B along with artist he admires, such as; J-cole, Kendrick Lamar, Andy Mineo, KB, and many more, JP finds his voice has a reflection to those who have paved the way in making great music with substance. He is an energetic performer who creates music not to be tied solely to a genre but relatable to a listener not only for his or her entertainment but also their heart. From his recent Mixtape in 2018 titled, ‘LCII Mixtape’ to his first EP ‘New Chapter’ in 2016 JP continues to set the bar higher to improve his craft and continue to spread a positive message to those who support and listen.
