J.Pierce

Jonathan Pierce is an American hip hop artist born in Detroit MI, where he first began to show passion for Hip Hop music. He started rapping in Middle School where he dropped his first mixtape recorded off of a cheap microphone on the computer and industry instrumentals. At the age of 17 he started recording at Talent Live Studio's in Canton MI, where he made a lot of connection's and learned how to hone his skills. Talent Live Studios has seen all types of great artist from Kid Rock, Eminem, Jay-z's The Roc, Snoop Dogg and Stevie Wonder. He made great strides when he released his project Hip-Rap-Ap-Ology prt.1. which landed him Midwest Artist of the Year in the Underground Music Awards. He has opened up for Big Sean, Royce Da 5'9, D12, Black Milk, Obie Trice, Trick Trick, Big Herk, Big Krit, Kirko Bangz, Chevy Woods of Taylor Gang, Finally Famous, Plies, The Smokers Tour, Curren$y, Son Real, and Mass Appeals artist Boldy James. Last year the South and the North joined forces as Brick Squad Boyz member Cashmerely and Pierce did a joint mixtape (Deal on the table). Currently he is working on his seventh project Ear Hustle:The Telephone Effect expected to release this summer under Bentley Records.
