Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jonah J. Reid moved to Charlotte, North Carolina when he was in 5th grade. He was always surrounded by music, mainly because his mother was in the industry as well. Growing up around studios, being in plays, and modeling at a young age helped shape J.Reid to the person he is today. It was the City he claims (Charlotte, NC) that made him the artist he is today. Having other musical friends and networking with people who learn to express their thoughts through words, helped him create his own thoughts, til this day.
