Joonas Mikkilä, aka. J.Shore, is a Finnish conservatory trained pianist and choral conductor.
Born in 1990, he started playing clarinet age seven. In 2003 Mikkilä joined Tampere Conservatory, majoring in piano. He was admitted to the University of Tampere in 2006. Attending their choir class, he graduated with outstanding honers in 2008.
In between 2008 - 2010 Mikkilä worked as choral director for several choirs in Tampere. Autumn 2010 he went on to study at the Sibelius Academy (University of the Arts Helsinki).
In addition to his choir commitments, Mikkilä is a member of the duo 'Orion & J. Shore'. A collaborative electronic music project with his brother, Juska Wendland (<a href="spotify:artist:1f5FKhw0ETRTtRbVj0sTIE" data-name="Orion">Orion</a>).
